• The session fee for your boudoir shoot is $375. This fee includes all aforementioned services. Later, when you come in to pick out your images, you will choose from our album packages which start at $799.

YOUR SHOOT
First of all, be sure to get plenty of rest the night before, have a good breakfast, and then head over to the studio (no makeup, sweatpants, breakfast bagel in hand)!
Upon arrival, we'll hand you a mimosa and whisk you off to hair and makeup. The artist from Special Occasion Hair Design will make you feel cared for and gorgeous, while making sure you still feel true to yourself.
Once you're done there, it's time for the fun part! You'll spend the rest of your shoot with Natalie. Don't worry about the posing, how you look, or anything like that - your job is simply to have fun & let loose! Natalie will take care of the rest.
After the shoot is over, you can head home (or go out on the town!). We suggest scheduling something fun, because you're going to feel like a supermodel. The goal on the day of your shoot is to make you feel like your most empowered and beautiful self!
ORDERING SESSIOn
About a week and a half after your shoot, you'll come back in to see your pictures! Don't be scared, it's one of the most exciting parts of this process! You'll spend this time going through all of your images with us, and we'll help you narrow down to your favorites to fit in whichever package you choose to purchase that day. We'll then send you a proof of your design for approval, and soon you'll have your perfectly custom-made album ready to pick up! Then your super-woman alter ego will only be a few page turns away :)

PRICING FOR YOUR SHOOT
The session fee for your boudoir shoot is $375. This fee covers hair & makeup, all of your shooting time - everything for the day of your shoot. Later, when you come in to pick out your images, you will choose from our album packages which start at $799.
LEGACY
We believe in the value of printed photographs and celebrating life. This digital world is ever-changing, and for this reason, we never just deliver you the digital files. While you will receive the digital files for each image you purchase, you will also receive them printed to perfection in an album. Our albums are classic, private, archival, and will never become obsolete. While flash drives and CDs might be overtaken by new technologies, you can always have your beautiful album in your hands, never to be lost in the world of cyberspace.

We know putting your most vulnerable self in front of the camera can be scary. Daily at our studio we see real women with real bodies unlock a renewed sense of confidence and their unique femininity during their boudoir photoshoot, despite their nerves, culture-taught “inadequacies”, and their belief that they are “un-photogenic”.

A Comfortable All-Female Staff
We want you to shake away the stresses of your daily life the moment you walk through our door. Not only do we have a 100% female staff - we foster a judgment free zone in which you can come as you are and feel taken care of and welcome.
Pre-shoot Consultation
We invite you to come to our studio before your shoot so that we can make the absolute most of your photo session. At this meeting we'll get to know you and your style, as well as your desires for your finished images. You'll get to see touch and feel the beautiful products we have to offer, our boudoir studio sets and furniture, and we'll talk you through how to prepare for your shoot. If you already have some outfits in mind, bring them in so we can see what we'll be working with! Otherwise, we'll use this as an opportunity to guide you through what to bring and/or purchase before your shoot.
Discretion
We take your privacy very seriously. Our female-only team provides a comfortable atmosphere for you to be completely yourself. From the the time you walk in the door for your pre-shoot consult until day we place your finished album in your hands, your images will only be seen by our small, discreet team of professional ladies. ALL of the images displayed in our gallery have the full consent of our clients.
Lingerie (or not)
After you book your shoot with us, We will send you our style guide. This PDF is designed to help you prepare for your shoot and has everything you need to know about what/what not to buy, what to pull out of your closet, and what to expect during your shoot. Keep in mind- a boudoir shoot doesn't have to be all about lingerie. A tank top and undies, or your man's favorite button-up dress shirt make for tantalizing images! We've got lots of sexy ideas for you in our guide, and we will also discuss them during your personal pre-shoot consultation at our studio. Don't wait to have the “perfect body”
Seriously, ladies. 95% of the women who express interest in doing a boudoir shoot with us say that they want to wait until they loose a few more pounds (5, 10, 30, we've heard every number here). The truth is, very few women are at what they perceive to be their ideal weight. Do not punish yourself for not being "perfect"; you deserve to feel beautiful and sexy no matter what size you are. We photograph real women — new moms, not-so-new moms, young 20 somethings, hot 40 and 50 somethings. We have put years worth of experience, thought and energy into crafting the most complete boudoir experience you could ever imagine, and we will walk you through every single step of it. You can trust us to educate you on everything you need to know, bring and do ahead of time, so instead of worrying about what to do - you can relax, be excited and enjoy the process from start to finish. In short - we've got your back. So you do not need to be anything more than you are right now, and the only prerequisite for doing a shoot with us is that you want to feel happy and beautiful :)
Albums
We have designed our boudoir shoots to be a complete experience that lead to the creation of a beautiful album. We find this is the best way to privately showcase and enjoy your incredible images. Our albums start at $699, and include at least 20 fully retouched images of your choice, arranged artfully by our in-house album designer. Our other albums options increase in the number of images included, as well as cost. All of our album packages include the digital image files of the images retouched for your album.

I hear this objection ALL the time, and it's really just a way of telling yourself you are not good enough to do this. You may never actually lose those extra few pounds you are carrying around - and that's OK. It doesn't make you any less worthy of feeling beautiful, special and like you are "enough". And lucky for you - the extra pounds couldn't matter any less in your photos! I've been photographing women for 10+ years, and I will use lighting, posing, wardrobe and lens angles to make you look your best - at any size!

We take your privacy very seriously. The women who appear on our website have given 100% consent (and 100% enthusiasm!) to be a part of our website, but we never expect that from our clients. We create your boudoir images for you exclusively, and by default they will only be seen by our small and discrete female staff, and whomever YOU choose to share them with, if anyone.

Our comprehensive Style Guide contains tips and tricks, day-of-prep info, a checklist of must-brings and must-dos as well as several example images that are sure to get your wheels turning. Not only will we send you our style guide when you book, but we'll schedule your pre-shoot consultation during which you'll bring all your potential wardrobe items and we'll review them with you in person!

This shoot is 100% about capturing your own unique style, so if lingerie doesn't speak to you- you should not wear it for your shoot! That being said, if you're interested in it, but are unsure of what to buy, that's a different story :) We have several clients that are fully or partially clothed for their entire shoot - and they are just as sexy as those that bring lingerie! So think about embodying your own personal look - and check out the wardrobe inspiration section on our Gallery page!

Then you are in good company - while the women on my website LOOK like models, absolutely none of them are. I don't expect my clients to have any idea of how to pose themselves, that's 100% my job! I will direct you through the entire shoot, I promise anyone can do it. You'll just look and feel like a model :)

In short: no. We believe it is a disservice to only deliver digital files, as your beautiful images should be printed to last and easy to enjoy. There is no better way to achieve this than with a boudoir album. Not only are your images protected, but they tell the story of your personality. Plus, all of our albums come with accompanying digital files of the included images, it's the best of both worlds!

Similar to putting off your shoot until you lose 5 lbs, thinking that you are too old / short / athletic / curvy / not curvy, or too ANYTHING to do a shoot is simply your inner-critic's way of making you feel like you don't deserve to do this. You are perfect exactly as you are in this moment - and everything you've experienced is a part of your journey that makes you uniquely you! Through lighting, posing, wardrobe and lens angles I will show you your beautiful self in a way that will make you forget whatever you were worried about :)

Many of our boudoir shoots seem to come with tight deadlines, and we usually can accommodate! Our production mavens are amazing, and while in an ideal world you would call 2 months before your deadline, we've been able to deliver digital products within a week for last minute special occasion gifts, with the album shortly to follow. If you're considering a last-minute present, call us now so we can get you on the calendar ASAP!

Chrissy from Special Occasion Hair Design comes right to our studio to get you prepped for your shoot, and with over 20 years of experience she will style your hair and makeup based on your direction and comfort level. In my experience, not being "photogenic" just means that you don't photograph well under common lighting conditions. When you're photographed by a professional photographer who understands lighting, posing, lens choice, camera angles and expression, there is no such thing as not being photogenic!

Natalie’s Passion Project
Real Women of Rochester
Local women who have a desire to share the story of their struggles and triumphs through womanhood in hopes of fostering a community in which we support and celebrate women.
I was definitely nervous to make the call to book the shoot, but by the time I got off the phone with the studio, I was feeling more excited than nervous. On the day of my shoot, Natalie immediately put me at ease. After meeting her, I told my husband, "I want us to be friends!" The shoot ended up being an amazing experience. I definitely found myself feeling more confident as the shoot went on, and by the end of it I didn't want to leave! All the women involved create a fantastically warm and comfortable environment. It's easy to talk yourself of out this luxurious experience: "I don't deserve it, I haven't worked hard enough, I'm not thin enough, I'm not pretty enough..." I think EVERY woman who has done a shoot like this has had those thoughts go through her head—which is exactly why every woman should do it! Take the opportunity to see yourself as your loved ones see you—strong and beautiful.
